2024 – WE ARE SO EXCITED TO TELL YOU IT IS TIME TO   VOLUNTEER.  ALL THAT WE ASK IS TO COME WITH AN OPEN HEART, READY TO SHOW GRACE, RESPECT AND LOVE TO OUR PRINCESSES. WE WILL HELP YOU WITH THE REST.

Register now to volunteer for Cinderella’s Closet Purchase Area Community to be held on March 16, 2024 at Immanuel Baptist Church at 3465 Buckner Ln. Paducah, KY.  Take a look at our Volunteer Page to see some of the positions we will have that day. These volunteer shifts are for ladies age 20 and older due to privacy issues. 

STEPS TO VOLUNTEER

First – Sign Up Genius 

Here’s how it works in 2 easy steps:

2. Sign up. Select your spot.   Save and continue.

3. Enter name, phone number and email.   Sign up now.

(You may select multiple slots if you are choosing to set up and/or tear down as your second spot.  We could certainly use your help. We also need help during the week of Cinderella’s Closet.  Starting Wednesday, March 13th through Friday, March 15th, we will turn the entire downstairs of Immanuel into a beautiful closet fit for a Princess.  We have over 800 dresses to bring downstairs on Wednesday.  On Thursday, men are needed to set up dressing rooms, shoe room, jewelry and purse rooms.  Women have much to do as well.  We will do finishing touches on Friday.   See schedule below:

March 13 10:00 Women needed to transport dresses

March 14 9:00  Men needed to set up.  Women needed to set up dress area, put out shoes, jewelry, etc.

March 15 9:00 Women needed for finishing touches.

March 16 5:30 Men, women, youth needed to take down.

SECOND – BACKGROUND CHECK INFORMATION:

IF YOU VOLUNTEERED FOR THE 2023 EVENT, A BACKGROUND CHECK WILL NOT BE REQUIRED THIS YEAR.

1. Once you sign up for a volunteer spot, you will receive an email from Sterling volunteers within 24 hours. (It will be from theadvocates@sterlingvolunteers.com). Please complete this ASAP to ensure your background check is completed in time. 
 
2. Click the button within the email that says “Order My Background Check”.
 
3. That link will direct you to Sterling Volunteers and you will need to create an account or login if you have one already. 
 
4. Enter information and follow the prompts on the webpage. You will have to enter payment information. Cost is $19 and the background check will be good for two consecutive Cinderella’s Closet of the Purchase Area Community events. 
 
5. You can login later to view the status of your order. 
 
6.  If you have any questions or do not receive your email, please call or text Monica at 270-519-1984

 At a later date we will email you the necessary information for your volunteer shift (what to wear, arrival time, meals etc.).
